Representatives from the Institute of Finance visited the children and caretakers of Maria Konopnicka Local Government Kindergarten No. 176 in Kraków and 4 Pory Roku Non-Public Kindergarten 4 in Ciele (Bydgoszcz poviat). Both events were marked by games and activities to deepen the knowledge of the winners of the “Finance? What is that?” competition.
Among the issues covered, representatives from the Institute of Finance introduced the youngest to, among other things, the role of saving and discussed the most popular means of payment, including cards and cash. The meetings in such facilities constituted the closing ceremony of the first edition of the competition organised by the Institute of Finance.
We are very pleased with the huge interest generated by our first edition of the ‘Finance? What is that?” competition. Our role is broadly to educate and popularise financial literacy. We want to share it in an accessible way, also through meetings and activities with the children ,” emphasises Łukasz Chrobak, Director of the Institute of Finance.
Visits at both facilities also involved the presentation of prizes and awards to the most talented winners of the competition. All award-winning units also received specially prepared teaching materials on finance for working with the youngest children.
