Another educational project of the Institute of Finance has been officially launched. Geocaching trails combine financial education with outdoor activities in two of the greenest places in Warsaw – Pole Mokotowskie and Park Moczydło. Geocaching is a type of outdoor game that involves searching for hidden spots (boxes) in the area using a smartphone GPS receiver. The location data of each box is obtained by correctly solving tasks connected with finances assigned to each spot. Young adults and children, as well as all lovers of active leisure, are warmly invited to participate in the game. For more information, see the Geocaching tab on our website.
Friendly Finance
Friendly Finance is an urban game addressed mainly at primary school students, which takes them through the most basic issues in finance, from where money comes from, to the topic of household finances, to concepts related to banking institutions. While following the trail, you will realize that money is not just a banknote or a coin; you will read what institution is the bank of banks, and you will learn how to save and multiply money. Tracking down all the boxes in the series reveals the location of the final one. The Friendly Finance trail is a great idea for spending an active weekend with children outdoors.

Financial market
Financial Market is a slightly more challenging urban game addressed to older primary school students and those in secondary schools. The caches provide an easy introduction to the topic of money circulation in the economy and explain the differences between the basic types of financial market institutions. They also help to clarify the roles of several of them and introduce concepts related to investing. Similarly to the first trail, finding six spots allows you to discover the location of the final box.
