The Institute of Finance supports ‘Finansomania’ – the National Contest of Financial Knowledge

Class scenarios concerning the world of economics, which have been prepared by the Institute of Finance, will help participants in the upcoming ‘Finansomania’, the National Contest of Financial Knowledge.

Educational activities and the dissemination of knowledge about the world of finance among the younger generation constitute an important part of the mission of the Institute of Finance. This is precisely the purpose of the financial lesson plans prepared by our Institute. These scenarios have been published by the Poznań University of Economics on its website as a learning aid for the Contestants taking part in ‘Finansomania’.

“We want to continually contribute to the development of financial literacy. We are convinced that the National Contest of Financial Knowledge is an excellent tool for promoting this particular area of knowledge. We wish good luck and fruitful learning to all participants of ‘Finansomania’”, commented Łukasz Chrobak, Director of the Institute of Finance.

The Contest, of which the Institute of Finance is a partner, will start in autumn 2023 and run until June of the following year. It will provide an opportunity for young people to learn about the world of finance and the mechanisms that govern the financial market. This is a much-needed initiative that builds awareness among young people about how important financial literacy is for the functioning of the society as a whole.
