On 17-18 October, the Institute of Finance took part in the LocalTrends Forum in Poznań. It is a project aimed at strengthening the voice of cities, communes, poviats and voivodeships in the discussion on the socio-economic development of the country. During the event, we presented our latest report on the financial and legislative aspects of the energy transformation in Poland, which largely describes the effects of the transformation on specific regions of our country. The Forum was also a platform where we could share our reflections on financial education in society with representatives of the media and local government administration, as well as take an active part in the discussion on inflation in local governments. During the very popular panel on remedial issues in this subject, the Institute of Finance was represented by Katarzyna Obłąkowska, PhD, Head of the Behavioural Analysis and Social Research Team.
