Radom is another city where the promotion of the report “How does the state finance its activities? The public finance system from behind the scenes” by the Institute of Finance took place.
We have already promoted the study by the Institute of Finance, which presents key information on fiscal policy in an accessible and substantial way, in two centres – the Academy of Zamość and the University of Economics in Katowice. Another centre was the University of Technology and Humanities in Radom. The author of the publication of the Institute of Finance is Michał Ostrowski. Elżbieta Jędruszczak, PhD, talked about the details of the study at the meeting.
“The publication aims at educating and bringing the specifics of public finance closer to different audiences. That is why we have made efforts to promote this study in academic centres in many parts of Poland” , explained Łukasz Chrobak, Director of the Institute of Finance.
The meeting, held at the Radom University of Technology and Humanities, was attended by many students and academics with an interest in public finance. As the event organisers acknowledged, the lecture provided an opportunity to talk about the nature of fiscal policy and its key issues.
“We welcome the opportunity to interact with university and high school students of economic profiles on such an important topic as public finance. The young financiers had a lot of content-related questions about the shape and specifics of this area that affects us all”, added Elżbieta Jędruszczak, PhD.
The meeting at the University of Technology and Humanities has become part of the calendar of occasional events organised on the occasion of Accountants’ Day.
